Knee: thigh bone, kneecap, meniscus, lower leg bone

Treating the joint (for osteoarthritis / arthritis / injury) is actually quite simple!

At least that’s what you might assume:

  • Puncture of an effusion, as this relieves inflammation in the joint space.
  • Injection of cortisone, or better still hyaluronic acid, or even better platelet-rich plasma (PRP) into the joint space to inhibit the recurrence of inflammation or even enable repair of the cartilage.

The guideline treatment for osteoarthritis/arthritis still recommends rest, weight loss, physiotherapy or the use of tablets (NSAIDs). Cortisone injections are now only recommended for pain relief in advanced stages until joint replacement surgery is planned.

Our experience with the use of hyaluronic acid decades ago was good, but it has been significantly surpassed by the use of PRP in joint space applications.

However, it was only the development of treatment concepts that individually understand and treat the complex function of the «Joint Organ» and the causes of progressive damage and persistent symptoms that led to a massive breakthrough in the effectiveness of conservative treatment.

We are now one of the few providers internationally to offer non-surgical treatment of the bone partners of a joint. Using minimally invasive, low-risk, well-tolerated and cost-effective methods, we can treat the important bone structure in the joint region without surgery.

Inflammation in the bone causes the joint to degenerate further and is often the main reason for joint pain.

It’s not as simple as it seems, but once you understand it properly, it’s easy to deal with correctly. We would be happy to discuss this with you in more detail.
